These homeowners called because their cement garage slab had cracked and sunk. They once had a septic tank located in the garage causing the cement to crack and after the tank was removed, the slab began to sink.
In order to repair the sinking concrete, we installed the PolyLevel system. This system is installed by drilling a few small holes in the slab that are then filled with high-density polymers that expand to raise the concrete slab back to its original position.
Rick and Sue have a portion of their front porch that is started to sink about 2 inches and is causing the porch to be uneven. They wanted it fixed to keep the owners and the porch safe. We used PolyLevel, a lightweight and waterproof foam, to lift the sunken area back up to the original level. This foam does not add extra weight or pressure to the unstable soil that caused the concrete to settle so it will provide a long lasting solution to the problem. The foam cures in about 15 minutes so the porch is usable in no time and getting the problem fixed is not inconvenient to the homeowners.
Sherry realized the concrete slabs in her home were cracked and uneven. She didn't want anyone to hurt themselves on the obstacle, so she called Ayers for help. Our team stopped by her house to recommend a solution. They suggested PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and leveling system where polymer foam is injected into voids underneath concrete slabs, expanding and raising the concrete. Sherry is happy to have nice and level concrete in her home!
This Roscommon couple have been in their home for about 2 years. Since they moved in, the front porch slab had been sinking but the settling was causing the columns to pull away from the ceiling. This was super concerning to the homeowners and they wanted a fix for it. We used a light weight foam called PolyLevel so lift the concrete slab back up to the original level. By leveling out the porch, the columns are stabilized and don't pull away anymore. To seal any cracks we used NexusPro Crack Repair which keeps water and debris from getting under the concrete and degrading it.
Michigan weather is one of the harshest climates for concrete. Whether roads or driveways, cracking and sinking is bound to happen due to the many freezing and thawing cycles that Michigan throws at us. One of the best ways to fix and prevent sinking concrete is with a foam solution called PolyLevel. PolyLevel is injected under the cement slab through a small incision and acts as an expanding foam to fill in any gaps return the concrete back to its normal self. The foam then hardens, allowing for the empty space to be controlled and prevent any future sinking or cracking.
