A local church in Berrien Springs was beginning to see significant signs of shifting of their concrete, which was becoming very uneven and had some mild cracks. The church called Ayers to see what we could do, and we were able to lift and level several areas of their concrete with our Polylevel technology, along with the installation of our NexusPro sealant in the cracks to no longer allow for water to enter into those cracks.

We received a call from one of our customers in Berrien Springs, they wanted help waterproofing their basement and they knew that we were the right people to call to make sure that the job is done right. We gave them a free estimate and decided to install a SuperSump among many things because their current sump pump would not be able to stand Michigan weather. The SuperSump contains a pump stand (prevents clogging of any debris in the sump liner), pump alarm (for when the basement floods), and an airtight sump lid with a floor drain in it (helps water to go down but not air to come up). Now this homeowner won't have to worry about a basement flood ever again.

Settled Pool Deck Stabilized With PolyLevel in Berrien Springs, MI

The concrete around the pool in this Berrien Springs home was sloping and had multiples gaps and cracks that formed over time.

We installed the PolyLevel system to lift and stabilize the settled concrete. We first drilled multiple small holes into the concrete and then injected each with a specialized polymer material. The high-density polymers expanded to lift the concrete slabs back to their original position and their lightweight makeup addressed the weak the soil issue below that caused the slab to sink in the first place. This installation caused little disruption to the home and had a cure time of about 15 minutes. We also installed the NexusPro joint sealer to each of the cracks in the cement to prevent them from cracking any further.
