Sinking concrete isn't actually caused by the concrete itself, but is caused by moving soil under the concrete slab. Not only is sinking concrete not nice to look at as well as decreases home value, but it also can become a tripping hazard. Our customers chose to have a PolyLevel injection to help fix the issue. PolyLevel works as a foam injection directly under the concrete slab. This injection is minimally invasive by only using a small hole ontop of the slab to inject the foam. The PolyLevel foam works to fill in gaps left from the moving soil and stabilize the slab. Able to be fully cured in 15 minutes and can be either walked or driven on directly after, PolyLevel is a great fix to any sinking or moving concrete slabs.
This Grand Rapids couple has a tennis court with some cracks and settled concrete. They have been wanting to get it resurfaced but can not do that until the the concrete is leveled and cracks are filled. We used PolyLevel to level the concrete. It is a waterproof, stable, and lightweight foam. To seal the cracks, we used the NexusPro sealant. It keeps things from getting through the cracks and degrading the concrete from below.
Kevin's in-ground pool has a large concrete deck around it. Part of the deck has settled creating an uneven walking space as well as a trip hazard due to the concrete edges sticking up. We used PolyLevel foam to lift the fallen concrete slabs back up and create a level pool deck. This foam is waterproof and stable so it won't get washed away or react with the soil. The installation and curing takes less than an hour so it won't take up much of your time.
Rick G had sections of his driveway and garage settling. Our inspector noticed a void under his front porch that was causing the sinking concrete. Rick also noticed his garage door was unable to close all the way. We lifted and level the driveway and walkway using our highly engineered PolyLevel foam to fill the void and raise the sunken slabs. The foam cures quickly and Rick did not have to wait long to walk or drive on the leveled slabs.
Sheila and Donald have a covered porch that is cracked and settled. They are worried about the home and the covering of the front porch. To raise the concrete back up to the original position, we used PolyLevel which is a waterproof injectable foam. This foam is very light weight but strong enough to hold up concrete as well as the loads that would be on it. To seal the crack and prevent water and debris from degrading the slab from below, we used NexusPro Crack Repair. This crack repair is a silicone-based sealant that is designed to withstand harsh weather and remain flexible. Both the PolyLevel and NexusPro cure in a short period of time so it will not disturb the homeowners.
