Lucas from Grass Lake, MI was having water issues in his basement. His sump pump had been running full time the entire fall, and water was beginning to seep through the floor around where the sump pump was. In order to stop water from seeping in and preventing further damage, we decided to install our TripeSafe Sump Pump.
TripleSafe has three sump pumps that all fit into one liner. This is important because three pumps won’t become overwhelmed with higher pumping demands like a single pump would. Also, if the power goes out in your home, the third pump serves as a battery-operated backup, meaning that it will take care of any business that needs to be handled until the power comes back on. Lucas' old sump pump simply couldn't handle all of the water that was coming in, but with TripleSafe, no amount of water is ever too much for this beast.
In terms of waterproofing your basement, there simply isn't a superior option to our TripleSafe Sump Pump.
Michael is 75 years old and has had water intrusion in his basement where the wall meets the ceiling for a while. The water would seep in whenever it rained and he would use a shop-vac and sand to sop up the water. He called Ayers for an inspection, and our crew determined that fixing the uneven concrete outside the home would keep water out. We would utilize PolyLevel and NexusPro to even the concrete and fix the cracks.
The PolyLevel system is used to repair sinking concrete by drilling minuscule holes into the slab and filling them with foam. The foam raises the slab and fortifies it to make it last even longer. NexusPro is a sealant that fills the cracks in the concrete. It is extremely withstanding to harsh weather so it will remain intact for years.
Michael was so grateful for the work Ayers did. Besides the fact that the uneven concrete was letting water into the basement, it was a tripping hazard for Michael. He never has to haul out the shop-vac ever again!
Michael's unfinished basement was running into water intrusion issues during rains where the wall and floor met. He decided he needed to call Ayers for our waterproofing solutions. Our customer care team set an appointment with Michael for our crew to inspect his home. From the inspection, our System Design Specialists recommended that we install the WaterGuard System we provide. This is a subfloor drainage system that collects water leaking in through the walls. We hook this system to the sump pump so the water is directed here rather than on his floor. The drain is placed along the perimeter of the basement, resting in a bed of drainage stone and on top of the footing of the foundation to prevent clogging. Lastly, it is concealed with concrete to blend with the space. Michael will no longer need to stress about water damage!
Deborah worried about water pooling into her basement. She knew her sump pump must have failed, so she called Ayers for help. Our crew visited her home and recommended the SmartSump sump pump. This system is designed specifically for small spaces and includes WaterWatch, the alarm system intended to alert the homeowner when water leaks past the sensor. Deborah is happy she called Ayers to get the job done!
Any diversions from a flat surface in your yard - hills, valleys, slants - can cause headaches when it comes to water. Our customer called because the slant to their driveway was helping water drain toward the house instead of away - sometimes it seemed to be coming right from the floor.
By installing TrenchDrain in the driveway, water can drain through the grated opening and divert to an outlet in the yard, far away from the house.
