Basement floors are often made up of wood sub-floors. The problem with wood is if something were to start leaking in your basement, you’re in big trouble. They are easily ruined by water and are the perfect surface for mold growth.
We installed our ThermalDry flooring system, a system made with the only plastic, all inorganic subfloor in the world. It won’t be ruined by water, vapor can’t pass through, and mold won’t grow on it. There are a variety of finishes to choose from so you don’t have to compromise style for functionality.
This Eaton Rapids homeowner has an area in her basment that has water entering where the floor and wall meet. We installed the WaterGuard to keep the water out of her basement. This system is installed under the floor but above the foundation and drains the water that is collected to the sump pump to be expelled out of the home.
This homeowner had settled concrete near the corner of his garage. His front steps and the porch have also dropped. We used PolyLevel to lift the concrete and help with his settlement issues. PolyLevel is a lightweight but strong foam. The foam is waterproof and stable so it won't wash away or react with the soil. The best part is that it cures in about 15 minutes.
Mike realized the concrete slabs outside his home were cracked and uneven. He didn't want anyone to hurt themselves on the obstacle, so he called Ayers for help. Our team stopped by his house to recommend a solution. They suggested PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and leveling system where polymer foam is injected into voids underneath concrete slabs, expanding and raising the concrete. Mike is happy to have nice and level concrete outside his home!
The homeowner noticed uneven floors in their Lansing home and was unsure whether it was due to sagging or sloping. The Ayers team inspected the crawlspace, which had a 4-foot height and a decent-sized entry. They identified that the floors needed reinforcement to stabilize the structure. The team installed supports in the crawlspace to level the floors, providing a permanent solution to the homeowner's concerns about the unevenness. This approach helped improve the stability of the home and ensured the floors were secure.
