Isiriel's home was built in 2012, but the poured concrete foundation was letting water into the basement where the wall meets the floor. He had noticed it when the snow started melting, but there was no water in the sump pump. He called Ayers for an inspection and our crew determined that WaterGuard would be the perfect solution for him. WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. Isiriel was grateful we could save his basement before major damage could be done.
After recently buying a home, Carlyn realized some foundational problems. The brick foundation walls were bowing and cracking, and the home's integrity was questionable. Carlyn reached out to Ayers to find a solution. After an assessment of her home, the team at Ayers suggested Shotcrete.
Shotcrete is concrete or mortar that is sprayed through a high pressures hose onto a wall or surface; thus sticking and creating structural support. Shotcrete can stabilize foundation walls that are failing through the distribution of weight and pressure. One applied the brick foundation in Carlyn's home was stabilized!
Steven realized the concrete slabs in his driveway were cracked and uneven. He didn't want anyone to hurt themselves on the obstacle, so he called Ayers for help. Our team stopped by his house to evaluate the space and recommend a solution. They suggested PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and leveling system where polymer foam is injected into voids underneath concrete slabs, expanding and raising the concrete. Steven is happy with his nice and level driveway!
Johnathan was sick of his basement windows and wanted to learn about his options, so he called Ayers for help. Our team of experts went to his home and recommended an egress window. The egress window is designed for durability against heavy soil and water and includes stairsteps for evacuation. On the surface, egress windows employ a polycarbonate safety cover to prevent accidental falls. Johnathan feels much better about his beautiful new window!
Carol realized there were deep cracks in her basement walls and didn't want them caving in. She called Ayers and we sent a team of experts to her home to examine the issue. They recommended the Supportworks GeoLock Wall Anchor System. These are heavy-duty, galvanized earth anchors designed to be placed in solid, undisturbed soil. The steel rod connecting the ground anchor to the wall anchor provides clamping pressure to stabilize the wall. Carol loves the look of her new basement wall!
