A homeowner called our team because she had water coming into her crawl space. So we installed CleanSpace, an uninterrupted vapor barrier that is applied to the walls and floor of your crawl space. It restricts all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish.
An extremely strong odor was coming from Al’s crawl space. It was so strong he couldn't even get close to it. Our team took a look and didn’t find anything that would account for the smell, so we installed CleanSpace. CleanSpace is a plastic sheet material used as a vapor barrier to restrict all moisture, outside air, and pests from entering your crawl space. Therefore, no matter what the smell is coming from, it will be stopped because nothing will be able to enter Al's crawl space. Not only does this system create an energy-efficient crawl space, but it also gives your crawl space a clean finish.
Lowell has some issues with his home being cold and pipes freezing in the winter. He wanted to insulate his crawl space and seal it off from the outside to solve these problems. We first insulated the crawl space to help keep the cold air out and warm air in. We then laid down the CleanSpace Liner which is a thick durable liner which keeps water vapor, pests, mold, and humidity out of the area.
This crawl space needed to be protected from the outside environment, so we installed CleanSpace technology. CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. Polyester cord reinforcement allows for a lot of durabilities, to make it last longer than the home will. This liner also contains an antimicrobial additive to prevent mold. Now this homeowner won't have to worry about a moldy crawl space ever again.
This Traverse City couple wants to finish their basement and add bedrooms for their kids. Before doing that, they knew that there were some projects that needed to be completed first - adding egress windows and encapsulating the crawl space. The egress windows allow for a safe exit in case of emergencies as well allowing more natural light into the area! For keeping the crawl space dry, we used Drainage Matting and the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. Drainage Matting directs the flow of water, if any, to the sump pump and the CleanSpace keeps out water vapor.
