Tony realized the water from outside was draining into his basement. He called Ayers for help before it caused structural damage to his home. Our experts went to his house and recommended WaterGuard as the solution. WaterGuard is a drainage pipe designed to eliminate clogs by sitting on top rather than alongside the footing. Tony is happy to have a dry basement!
When wall leaks happen, the water flows down the walls and creates puddles. These puddles appear across the floor and at the joints where wall and floor meet. The WaterGuard system - which can be seen being installed in the after photo - acts as a drain for the basement walls and floor. It is installed in a gap around the perimeter of the floor to catch any runoff. The water then flows along the trench and is forced out of the house by whichever draining system you choose to install. We recommend a sump pump system for reliable and continuous discharge.
Our customer called to have an egress window installed. The home's previous owner had improperly installed basement windows, causing leaking and drafts. This isn't uncommon when working below grade - that's why it's important to have a basement company install basement windows.
Looking to tranform your dark and damp basement? Egress windows are the perfect long-lasting solution. Egress windows are swapped with your old, tiny windows to provide a functional replacement.
Our installation process is quick and will leave you with a window that provides an excellent source of natural light and access to fresh air. The beautifully crafted window is placed in a well that is surrounded by galvanized tin and personalized steps to provide a safe and efficient way to escape any emergency situation.
The homeowners had water leaking into their basment during the winter months. They had an existing sump pump that worked well during the spring and fall, but for some reason during the winter months they noticed water getting in the basement area.
Our professional team knew the solution for these homeowners was our IceGuard system. The IceGuard system is attached to the sump pump discharge line on the outside of the home. The IceGuard allows water to escape from the sump pump discharge line if the pipe freezes or becomes blocked for any reason. Even if the pipe outlet is buried under a foot of ice and snow, the water can escape, allowing your sump pump to keep your basement dry. What makes IceGuard even better is when the pipe thaws, the water will automatically run along its normal route, and no water will escape from the IceGuard!
Thannks to IceGuard the homeowners basement is now dry all year round!
