Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

The homeowner in Jackson, MI was having an issue with some water entering in the basement. Unsure why water was entering the basement, one of our System Design Specialist took a look at the issue. 

After evaluating the problem, the best solution to the issues happening were to install our French Drain System along with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. How do you think the water that comes in your basement from the walls or floor get out of your basement? I mean it can't rely solely on gravity to drain it. You need a sump pump to pump the water out and get it far enough away it can't come right back in. Sometimes sump pumps break or get old and stop working but no worries we have plenty of options for every budget and every basement. This customer in Jackson, MI had the current sump pump but during rainy seasons it ran non stop and they wanted something that didn't have to run so often but still got the job done without flooding their basement.

We were able to install our TripleSafe sump pump for them. This is our top of the line pump that has 3 pumps in 1 liner. The first pump is the main pump to get the water out, the second is there in case of a lot of water and you need back up, the third pump is battery operated in the event your power goes out. TripleSafe also comes with an airtight lid so water won't evaporate back into your basement and it even has an alarm if it can't keep up and you need to take action to prevent a flooded basement.

Mary grew up in her house but the walls were beginning to crumble and water was being let in. Mary called Ayers for an inspection and determined that Shotcrete would be the right solution for her home. Shotcrete is a sprayable concrete that stabilizes basement walls and fills any holes that let in unwanted water or air. Before the Shotcrete is sprayed, a steel cage is screwed into the walls for reinforcement. The extra air propelling the concrete out is what makes it able to be applied to vertical and sloping surfaces. Richard had his hands full as water was seeping into his basement all along the edges of the wall. The team at Ayers concluded from the assessment that a couple of different waterproofing measures would be best for the home. While a sump pump was already present, it wasn't doing the job well enough. Thus, TripleSafe was installed, a sump pump system that houses two powerful pumps with the same liner. The lowest pump in the liner runs all the time and is very efficient. In the case of a problem with the first pump, the second pump will turn on and begin pumping water out of the home. In the case of a power outage, the secondary pump is attached to an external battery to run with no electricity.
