Our customer called with water issues in their basement, but also wanted an egress window installed so once the waterproofing was done they could use the basement as proper living space. We installed a new egress window in place of the old window, bringing the basement up to code for use as a bedroom.
Kathryn realized the cold air entering her crawl space must be causing her frigid upstairs floor. After researching her options, she called Ayers to have it sealed completely. We sent specialists to her house, and after evaluating the space, they recommended rim joist insulation. Sealing these small cracks and crevices creates a barrier against cold air, moisture, and allergens. Kathryn feels much more comfortable in her home!
A customer had water entering his basement so he called our team for help. In addition to other systems we installed TripleSafe. TripleSafe is a sump pump system that’s main goal is to keep your basement dry. It provides ultimate protection against all basement leakage and any moisture problems because it has three pumps within this one system. One of the pumps is battery powered so that the system can work even during power outages.
The homeowner's concrete walks, driveway, and garage areas were sinking and cracking, creating tripping hazards and detracting from the beauty of their landscaped front yard. With winter approaching, they were concerned that freezing temperatures could worsen the damage.
To resolve these issues, Ayers lifted the sinking concrete using PolyLevel and sealed the cracks with NexusPro. This solution restored the safety and aesthetics of their outdoor space, ensuring the concrete remained durable and visually appealing throughout the winter.
Trevor has been experiencing water seepage through the corners of his unfinished basement for years. It was finally time to permanently resolve the leaks by calling Ayers. We recommended our WaterGuard and TripleSafe sump pump systems to keep water outside the home rather than on the floor. First, our subfloor drainage system, called WaterGuard, collects water leaking through the walls and reroutes it to the sump pump. The specially designed piping is installed along the perimeter of the basement below the walls and is covered by pouring fresh concrete over the top. Lastly, we added our three-pump system TripleSafe. Each pump lives in one durable liner and handles the water intrusion by directing the water outside the home. The third pump has a battery pack to ensure it runs during power outages. Trevor's worries about water damage in his basement are gone!
