CleanSpace and New Sump Pump Solve Flooding Basement in Jackson, MI

Jay called us because this past spring he had a foot of water in his crawl space. He had a good feeling it was because his sump pump had failed so we checked it out and came up with the best solution for Jay and his home. Our system design specialist after a thorough inspection decided to install our vapor barrier and a new sump pump.

Our vapor barrier is called the CleanSpace system. It is a very thick, plastic material that will keep all outside elements (dirt, bugs, critters etc.) outside. CleanSpace is also durable enough that it can be walked on, crawled on, have stuff stored on it and it won't rip or stretch out. We highly recommend vapor barrier, it keeps your basement dry and makes it more appealing.

Poly Level Helps a Jackson, MI couple Level Their Porch Steps

Our friends Ken & Rosemary from Jackson, MI began noticing that their porch steps were sinking on one end. This caused the steps to no longer be level and became a safety hazard for the couple and their guests alike. Ken began looking at their options; removing the concrete and rebuilding the steps seemed like an extensive and invasive process. Searching for a more effective solution to their cement danger, these wise friends called us! We used our unique product offering Poly Level to return the cement steps to their original position. Poly Level raises concrete through unique qualities of expanding polyurethane foam, making it: environmentally safe, affordable, waterproof to prevent future erosion, quick and mess free, and a permanent solution! Poly Level not only results in a solution that looks better and lasts longer, it is also less destructive to the applied surface. Poly Level was able to raise the sinking section of Ken & Rosemary’s steps and make them look like new. If you find yourself struggling with cement structure issues like our friends, give us a call for a free estimate before you decide to replace your cement. You may in fact be glad you did.

Installing Water Vapor Barrier in Musty Jackson, MI Crawl Space

This Jackson, MI crawl space had severe water damage due to intrusive water. The home owner did their best to seal the space with makeshift plastic liners but the dampness persisted. Our team removed the plastic liner and fiberglass insulation which retained water, and replaced it with CleanSpace crawl space water vapor barrier. We also added SilverGlo insulation on the walls to keep out cold air out and heat in. This owner went one step further by adding a SaniDry dehumidifier which is a game changer in keeping that space dry going forward.

Leveling a Driveway in Jackson MI

Saburo's driveway had some concrete slabs that started to sink. To lift and level the concrete, we used PolyLevel which is a waterproof, stable foam that is injected under the concrete. The foams cures in only 15 minutes so it is not an inconvenience!

Larger Window for Safety and More Natural Light

Jamie and her husband, Brian, have a son who will be moving into the room in their basement. The room is currently unfinished but they want to finish it once they replace the window with an Egress Window. The Egress has a larger size and the well has a ladder in it so it provides a safe exit in case of emergencies. The large window also allows more light into the room so it looks bigger and more welcoming.
