Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

One of our customers from Grass Lake called us about his walkway that was experiencing sagging and cracking. We gave him our professional help so that this would no longer be an issue. We installed PolyLevel which is an advanced polymer injection foam that we blast into the concrete which raises it level and makes it stronger than ever before. PolyLevel worked to raise and level out the concrete slabs while dealing with the weak soils below that were no longer able to hold the weight of the home above. We drilled multiple small holes into the concrete slabs in order to inject them with a polymer material that expanded to lift and level out the concrete. Once injected, the system only needed about 15 minutes to fully cure and the slabs were then stabilized and lifted to their proper level, and stronger than ever before. Now, this homeowner will not have to worry about this ever again.

This home was built in 1920, so the crawl space was not exactly an ideal one.  There was also evidence of a termite infestation, and mold was growing in multiple spots. Needless to say, this crawl space was due for a major upgrade. Luckily for this Grass Lake, MI home, we have the perfect solution: our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier Encapsulation system.

Lucas from Grass Lake, MI was having water issues in his basement. This Grass Lake home had a musty smell coming from the crawl space and the owner has respiratory issues making her worry that there was mold in her home. When we had our initial inspection, we found that the main beam in the crawl space was rotted and broken. To support the floors, we installed a supplemental beam and SmartJacks. We then installed the CleanSpace Liner to encapsulate the crawl space and keep it clean. Lastly, we used the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to keep the space dry and to filter mold spores and other particles. 

Michael is 75 years old and has had water intrusion in his basement where the wall meets the ceiling for a while. The water would seep in whenever it rained and he would use a shop-vac and sand to sop up the water. He called Ayers for an inspection, and our crew determined that fixing the uneven concrete outside the home would keep water out. We would utilize PolyLevel and NexusPro to even the concrete and fix the cracks. 

The PolyLevel system is used to repair sinking concrete by drilling minuscule holes into the slab and filling them with foam. The foam raises the slab and fortifies it to make it last even longer. NexusPro is a sealant that fills the cracks in the concrete. It is extremely withstanding to harsh weather so it will remain intact for years.

Michael was so grateful for the work Ayers did. Besides the fact that the uneven concrete was letting water into the basement, it was a tripping hazard for Michael. He never has to haul out the shop-vac ever again!
