An uneven porch or driveway is never good: it causes a tripping hazard, doesn't look the best and can reduce the resale value of your home. We have come up with a new solution that uses modern technology to fix your uneven slabs. You start by drilling small holes in the concrete, smaller than a penny, and then structural grade polymers are injected into the void. The material injected is very lightweight and the best part is that it cures in 15 minutes. That means it can be drove on, walked on etc. almost right away after the work is completed. The material is also waterproof so there is no need to worry about it being washed out beneath the slab in the future.
We received a call from a customer in Granger, Indiana about his basement, he was experiencing wet walls so we gave him a free estimate and then decided to install WaterGuard technology among many things. The WaterGuard is the pipe that runs water underneath the floors. This system runs on top of the footing instead of alongside it. The WaterGuard has a big drain outlet to the sump. It also has a built in tiny gap between the floor and the wall so that it can drain any wall leaks. This system is designed not to clog by having holes in case of debris clogging the pipe. The WaterGuard collects the water from drains in the basement.
Our friend in Granger, IN began experiencing water seepage through the poured walls in her crawlspace. She grew increasingly concerned when she noticed several of the wood floor supports under her home were beginning to rot. She needed professional help, and we came to her rescue!
After diagnosing her crawlspace needs, we installed our patented CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system in the crawlspace. The CleanSpace encapsulation product is a 20mm thick plastic lining that entirely seals off the crawl space from the harsh elements below. To supplement the CleanSpace system we installed the SaniDry Sedona, a high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system. In Nina’s crawlspace, the Sedona will help prevent mold and reduce musty odors, giving her dry healthy air and total comfort. With this encapsulation system in place, Nina’s crawl space will now be a safe and dry space.
Matt, our friend in Granger, IN began noticing that the seawall behind his home was progressively bowing toward the lake. He was growing increasingly concerned that the wall was eventually going to end up falling into the lake. Seeking professional help, Matt called us! We rushed to the rescue and implemented a plan to straighten Matt’s seawall using a series of 17 wall anchors. Wall anchors are perfect for returning a wall back to its original position and reinforcing it. We stabilize the wall with a steel rod that runs from the wall anchor to an anchor placed on the other side of the wall. Once we place the plates we have permanently stabilized the wall. With this solution in place, Matt can rest assured knowing his seawall will eventually return to its original position.
While we were working at his neighbors’ home in Granger, IN Josh came over and introduced himself to our crew. He told us that he had also begun noticing the seawalls bow toward the lake was progressively getting worse. As his neighbor had, Josh began growing increasingly concerned that his portion of the co-owned seawall was eventually going to end up falling into the lake. He admitted he hadn’t known what repair professionals to call but when he watched us work on his neighbor Matt’s portion of the seawall he was impressed! Shortly after fixing Matt’s portion of the seawall, we came back to help Josh stabilize his half of the wall. We prescribed a solution consisting of a series of 16 wall anchors. Wall anchors are perfect for returning a wall back to its original position and reinforcing it. We stabilize the wall with a steel rod that runs from the wall anchor to an anchor placed on the other side of the wall. Once we place the plates we have permanently stabilized the wall. Between Josh and his neighbor Matt’s efforts, this entire giant seawall has been stabilized. Both of these gentlemen can rest assured knowing their co-owned seawall will eventually return to its original position.
