A Holt, MI resident and his wife bought their home in 2007 and plan on staying in it forever. They have a new driver in the home and there's about a three to four inch drop leading into the driveway, making it unsafe. The couple called Ayers for an inspection and our crew determined they would need PolyLevel and NexusPro to correct the driveway.
The PolyLevel system is used to repair sinking concrete by drilling minuscule holes into the slab and filling them with foam. The foam raises the slab and fortifies it to make it last even longer. NexusPro is a sealant that fills the cracks in the concrete. It is extremely withstanding to harsh weather so it will remain intact for years.
The couple loved the work Ayers did to their driveway. Not only does it look much better, it is completely safe for their new driver!
Jeffrey was hoping to get a replacement for his current tiny basement window that wasn't doing him any favors. He called up Ayers and expressed his interest in our Egress Windows. These make a great addition to your basement as they are much larger which opens up the space with more natural light able to shine through. These are waterproof windows with an exterior well built around it to ensure water doesn't leak into his basement. The best advantage is its safety factor since Egress Windows provide a safe exit in the event an emergency takes place. Jeffrey was very pleased with the finished look these windows gave his basement!
This wall crack had been plaguing this basement for some time now. When it rained, water flowed through the crack and onto the basement floor. The homeowner wondered if there was anything we could do. There was. We had a simple, attractive, and economical solution. It's called FlexiSpan. We put a sealant on the crack. This is just a primary solution but its not permanent so we go a few steps further to make sure the crack never bothers the homeowner again. Next we removed some of the concrete at the base of the crack and dug out a drywell, about 3-5 gallons in size and filled that with stone. The concrete was replaced with the exception of a small gap along the wall so water could run into the drywell that we created beneath the concrete. In cases like this with a nearby sump pump, we may also create hole in the side of the sump well to allow the water to flow into the well and be removed from the home. Finally a thin foam layer and a strip of our durable CleanSpace material is put over the crack to conceal it. The foam allows for an easy flow of water down the wall and into the well. The problem is out of sight and out of mind and it will never puddle on the floor again.
Linda gave Ayers a call when she decided to take action to protect her home from any water leaks. Our Ayers Design System Specialist let her know our WaterGuard System would be a great option to protect her belongings in the basement.
The WaterGuard System catches any leakages from higher levels with its drainage system that runs along the perimeter of your basement. It therefore keeps water and dirt away from your foundation and will have concrete poured over top to conceal it. You can add regular flooring over the concrete as well for a finished look.
Linda is relieved to have her basement waterproofed by Ayers!
Trever and Shannon were looking to have their smaller basement windows replaced with large ones. She called up Ayers and our crew decided they would love our Egress Windows.
Egress Windows are larger and therefore make your basement space more open. The larger windows will let in more natural light and circulate fresh air in your basement. These windows are installed with a well that have a step in it to provide a safe exit option in the event of an emergency.
Trever and Shannon were happy with the difference these larger windows made as their basement is now more inviting!
