You have to have a downspout that gets the excess water away from your foundation, but who said it has to be clunky and annoying? Typically these discharge lines are a tripping hazard and have to be moved to mow the lawn in the summer. In all reality, they're just a big pain in the butt. We now offer a way to bury these lines, if you place our LawnScape outlet at the end. The cover can also be unscrewed to remove any debris that might get in the way of water being able to drain. The LawnScape outlet is very inexpensive and can really clean up the look around your house.
Rick G. of Lansing, MI was having water seepage in the basement before reaching out to us. The customer believed it was coming from the foundation and side wall of the basement. The home was built in the 1960s with a black basement, which could be the reason for the water leakage. Thankfully, we had a solution.
We installed two of us patented waterproofing products: the WaterGuard French drain system and the TripleSafe sump pump system. The WaterGuard French drain system rests below the basement floor and above the foundation footing, collecting water that seeps into the basement from the walls. Once that water is collected it is redirected to the sump pump to be pumped up and out of the home.
The TripleSafe is a sump pump that provides three levels of protection against water leakage. Whether it be normal water supply, heavy volumes of water, or in the case of a power outage, this sump pump will keep your basement dry. For normal water supply, the Zoeller ⅓ horsepower pump functions. At a heavier level, the Zoeller ½ horsepower pump activates. In the case of a power outage, the UltraSump backup sump pump will pump water on a backup battery.
One of the walls in this Lansing, MI basement was bowing inward and had multiple cracks in the cinder block seams. The homeowners wanted to do some remodeling in the basement, so they wanted the issue resolved before doing so.
To stabilize the shifting wall, we installed the CarbonArmor system that used carbon fiber straps to hold the wall in place. The straps are 10x stronger than steel and are adhered to the wall with a strong epoxy resin. Once attached to the walls, the system was secured into place with steel brackets to prevent the wall from continuing to shift and crack over time.
Chuck and Eva had some sinking concrete between the back porch and the pool. It was a hazard to have the uneven concrete so they called us for a solution. We injected PolyLevel to lift the sunken slabs and level to are by the back porch. PolyLevel is a waterproof foam that cures in just 15 minutes so it doesn't distrub the homeowners!
This Lansing homeowner had a flood in her basement last summer and now has some cracks where water leaks in. She wanted a solution and a peace of mind the foundtion was going to be secure. We installed the GeoLock Channel Anchors to provide an incredible solution that will halt all inward movement of your walls. The anchors are made up of steel beams with floor mounts for extra strength. Steel earth anchors are installed and steel rods are joined to them through the wall. The channel anchor is then mounted on the other end of the rod inside your foundation wall. This will stabilie the wall and could return the wall to the original position.
