Foundation Repair Photo Album: Securing a Retaining Wall in Grand Rapids MI

Jason called us becuase his retaining wall outside was bowing severely and starting to crack. The front door was starting to stick and he was afriad that the wall would break completely if not fixed soon. We installed the GeoLock Wall Anchor System to keep the wall from bowing further. Curved Wall

You can see in this picture that the wall seems to be leaning. That is not a great sign and shows that the wall is unstable. If this doesn't get fixed it could fall.

Big Cracks

These are the cracks on the corner of the wall that is settling the most. You can see the cracks are deep and that the wall has been moving.

Missing Some Cement

This side view shows that a chunk is missing in the wall which does not help the issue. If pieces are missing, the wall will be less stable than it was and could get worse faster.

Lots of Cracks

This is the other corner of the retaining wall and there are a lot of little cracks which are also a sign that the wall should be fixed.
