Foundation Repair in a Mattawan Michigan Home

 Larry has lived in his ranch-style home for 15 years. He is finally ready to finish his basement to create usable space and enjoy the walkout. He noticed some cracks in the wall about 3 years ago but there was never any movement. Recently, Larry did some landscaping and saw that the cracks were spreading, and a wall was starting to bow. He knew that the issues needed to be addressed before he could finish the space. 

Steven went to inspect the home to see what we could do to help. He checked the inside and outside of the home and knew that Larry needed foundation repair.

To keep the cracks from moving any further and stabilize the walls, we installed CarbonArmor. This solution is made up of flexible fabric straps which are stronger in tension than steel. The fabric straps are bonded to the walls with a high-strength epoxy resin. The best part is that the installation process does not require exterior excavation and it won’t impact the finishing of the basement!  

By using CarbonArmor, Larry could sleep happily knowing that the cracks in the walls will not keep spreading and his home is stable. Since the straps lay flat against the wall, he was able to start finishing his basement to create extra space in his home!
