Crawl Space Before
Casey's home was settling and the seller never disclosed that there was water in the crawls space, several settling piers, broken and rotting foundation beams, and a terrible DIY fix.
SmartJacks and CleanSpace
SmartJacks are steel supports that balance the foundation of the crawlspace, lifting it to its original position. They can be adjusted so the home will never shift out of place and are anchored into the ground with poured concrete. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement and crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
The TripleSafe sump pump system utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out.
Exterior Discharge Line and IceGuard
An exterior discharge line is a drain installed leading to the low point of the property, sending water away from the home. Since the system is inside, there's no dirt to clog it up and water is discharged effectively via the sump pump. IceGuard is a simple addition to your already existing sump pump. It allows water to escape when the discharge line is frozen and prevents your basement flooding in cold weather. IceGuard is completely automatic, meaning after the initial installation, it's done.
