Andrew noticed an unpleasant smell coming from his unfinished basement. After looking further he noticed water on the basement floor and knew he needed professional help. Ayers's resident foreman Randy was able to inspect the area and discovered the source of the water. The home was in a precarious spot and the work needed to be done outside of the home. To give Andrew peace of mind he installed water management tools CleanSpace and a dehumidifier while fulfilling Andrew's request to have an Egress window installed.

CleanSpace

To protect the home from any potential moisture, Randy and his team installed a protective lining known as CleanSpace. CleanSpace is an antimicrobial lining that is placed on every flat surface of a home's crawl space. CleanSpace provides a protective barrier between the home's vulnerable material and any possible moisture inside the home.

Dehumidifier

Moister is a major danger to the home. As Randy and his team installed the new equipment they ran a powerful dehumidifier to properly treat the area. Moisture in the air is a major risk to the home. Moisture can invite micro-organisms into the home that consume organic materials like the wood found in most homes' Support works. This process weakens the home's integrity risking the safety of the home. Moisture also invites mold spores that can risk the occupants' health directly as well as indirectly.

Egress

Andrew had a simple request to have a window installed in his basement. With water being an issue he wasn't sure if this was going to invite more issues. Randy was happy to oblige, installing one of Ayers's trusted windows. The new Egress Window was a much-needed improvement from what they had previously.
