Old Foundation Falling Apart
This home was built well over 100 years ago and stone foundations like this one only last about 100 years before they start falling apart. There were cracks and holes letting in water from the entire perimeter of the basement.
Windows Letting Too Much Rain Inside
The windows in the basement were also falling apart. They were not sealed or insulated properly, letting excess water inside and allowing moisture to penetrate the basement.
New Window to Cut Costs and Reduce Moisture
Our crew installed a brand new window for the homeowners. This will save on energy costs as well as keep moisture out.
TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard Installed
Our crew installed a TripleSafe sump pump as well as WaterGuard. The TripleSafe Sump Pump utilizes 3 pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergency, so the basement can remain dry even when the power goes out. WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that keeps water away from the foundation and mud away from the drains.
CleanSpace and SaniDry Installation
To make sure the home was completely waterproof, we installed CleanSpace Wall System and the SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier. CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along basement walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. The SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier automatically removes up to 100 pints of water a day from the air. The system circulates the now dry air through your basement and automatically removes the leftover water so you don't have to.
