Frank and Carol called us because their basement is finished and they want to protect it from the moisture that they began to notice gathering in the lower level of their home.. Our team arrived at their home prepared to waterproof their basement with a Triple safe sump pump, IceGuard, and water Guard. Sandstone Gray tiles were also installed to help give the basement a fully finished look. The WaterGuard is installed at the edges of the basement and it leads directly to the Triple safe sump pump where it is flushed out of the basement. The discharge line is used by the sump pump to expel water and it is protected with Ice Guard, which protect the basement even if the pipes freeze. They all work together to keep the basement dry and prevent as many issues as possible.

Water Guard Installation

The WaterGuard is installed around the edges of the basement, then covered with drainage rocks. It is a direct highway for water to the sump pump.

Sump Pump

The Triple safe sump pump has a third battery powered backup pump for emergencies. It is also equipped with an alarm for when the water gets too high. The sump pumps all water through the discharge line before it has chance to escape into your basement.

Ice Guard

IceGuard is equipped to the discharge line so that if the line or pipes ever freeze, water can still escape your basement. This work by having small holes at the top, so if water ever back up it will come out the holes instead of going back into your basement.
