Interlochen, MI Basement Made Dry
Challenge
Homeowners in Interlochen, MI had finished their basement some years prior but were still experiencing some water issues. They wanted their basement to be a place to relax but couldn't with the problem of constant moisture. Our system design specialist determined which products to install and our crew came in to make it happen!
Solution
The first system we installed was our TripleSafe sump pump. This system is the most reliable sump pump we offer as there are two additional pumps acting as backup for the original. One back up is in case of a power failure and the other is if there is an excessive amount of water during flooding that could potentially overwhelm a single pump.
An IceGuard was installed outside of the house acting as a shield over the discharge line. This prevents the line from freezing over and clogging during the winter months which would flow water back into the home.
The last step of the process was to bring in WaterGuard, a tracking system installed around the perimeter of the basement floor. These flooring is removed, the pipes are installed, and concrete is poured back over making this a discrete and hidden yet very effective system. Any water or moisture is directing into these pipes and out of the home.
