Prepping for WaterGuard
Fiona decided to go ahead with an internal drain and opted for the WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is a French Drain system that sits below the basement floor and above the home footing. The concrete around the permitter needed to be removed for the team to install the drain.
Setting the Drain System
Once the team had removed the concrete, they began placing the drain. CleanSpace will catch water from the walls and funnel it to the sump pump!
Installing TripleSafe
Since Fiona did not have a sump pump, she opted to install the TripleSafe Unit. TripleSafe utilizes three pumps with one liner for maximum precautions! The bottom two pumps can pump over 5000 gallons of water out of the home per hour at an 8ft overhead! Lastly, the third pump will pump water during a power outage as it's connected to an external battery!
Covering the WaterGuard System
Once the TripleSafe and WaterGuard systems were installed, they could be filled back in! Cement is filled back overtop of the systems to remove them from out of sight and leave the space looking better than before!
