John had become worried about his wood foundation and wanted to get everything checked out. He decided to call Ayers, and a home inspection was set up and conducted. The team at Ayers concluded from the review that some of his foundation was rotting due to water leaks; additionally, the foundation had settled, causing cracks and unlevel floors. The team at Ayers suggested installing the SmartJack System as it would stabilize and level John's home! After completing the project, John was thrilled that his foundation was stabilized and his worries about his home were no longer!

Preparing the SmartJack Base

The SmartJack System utilizes a concrete load-bearing base. A hole is dug for concrete to be poured to create the base. The base allows the jack system to level and permanently stabilize a home!

Pouring the Concrete Base

Once the hole for the jack is dug out, a liner is placed, and concrete is poured in. After the concrete base dries, further work can continue!

Finishing the SmartJack Base

Once the concrete for the base was dried, the top of the base was set into place and secured. The top of the base will connect the jack system to the floor joist to stabilize the home.

Finishing the SmartJack Installation

Lastly, when installing the SmartJack system, steel columns are cut and secured into the base and fasted to the floor joist. After the jack system is all setup, it can then raise and stabilize the home. For John, worrying about his foundation failing was no longer necessary!
