Moisture Accumulation Within The Home
Linda's home had noticeable moisture buildup within her basement, especially in the corners. These problems encouraged Linda to discover the problem, so she contacted Ayers, resulting in a permeant solution!
Installing WaterGuard For Wall Drainage
Water was seeping into Linda's basement through the foundation walls, which is why the bottom of the walls were wet. To fix that problem, WaterGuard was installed. WaterGuard is a French Drain system installed below the basement floor and above the home's footing. Any water seeping into Linda's house through the walls will be funneled behind the CleanSpace and directly into the drain system!
Utilizing TripleSafe for Complete Protection
Linda decided to install TripleSafe as it would be the best option for her home. TripleSafe houses two pumps within one liner for multiple layers of protection. The lower pump is very reliable and will run almost all the time. If the lower pump has a problem or is overloaded, the second pump will aid in pumping water out of the home. In addition, the secondary pump utilizes an external battery during a power outage. TripleSafe was an excellent option for Linda as any water coming into the home and through the WaterGuard will go directly into the sump pump!
Installing New Discharge Lines
Once TripleSafe was installed, new discharge lines needed to be installed for Linda's home. A trench is dug for the discharge lines to be inserted into the ground and later covered. Once the lines are installed and hooked up to the TripleSafe, water will be pumped away from the house to eliminate any worries!
Installing Low-Profile LawnScape Outlet
Linda opted to install the LawnScape Outlet for her discharge lines. The LawnScape outlet covers the end of the line stopping anything significant from getting into the line. Also, the low-profile outlet will not cause a disturbance or obstacle in Linda's yard!
Covering Up WaterGuard
Once the WaterGuard system was installed and completely hooked up, it could be covered back up. Cement is filled into where WaterGuard was placed, covering the system and keeping it out of sight!
Covering The Discharge Lines
After the discharge lines were correctly placed and installed, they could be covered up. Many homeowners may worry about what their yard may look like after a trench is dug. However, from Linda's experience, the aftermath of the installation left her yard looking like it never happened!
