Photo Album: Correcting Basement Walls in East Lansing, MI

Adam noticed cracks in his block foundation and found water seeping through. Wanting a permanent fix, he contacted Ayers. Our resident foreman Blade was happy to inspect the area and draft a treatment plan. Blade decided to install a PowerBrace set to correct the walls, a new TripleSafe sump pump to help manage water, and a WaterGuard drainage system to manage the flow.

PowerBrace

PowerBrace is a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls in place. Outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, but this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping the basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them.

TripleSafe

TripleSafe is a trusted sump pump at Ayers due to its three levels of security. The first level is a powerful motor that has a high water capacity. The second level of security is a reserve motor that activates if the water surpasses a certain level on the initial motor. The third level of security is a backup battery that only activates if the home losses power.

WaterGuard

WaterGuard is a system of draining channels that are connected to the home's sump pump. The channels are installed under the foundational floor and covered with poured concrete, making it invisible to the naked eye. The channels lead to an outlet pipe that takes the water far away from the home's foundation, depositing the water in a safe location.
