Dick and Nellie recently moved into their new home. They recently discovered they had water issues and realized the previous owners downplayed the problems that the home had. Hoping to waterproof their home they contacted Ayers. Our resident foreman Bruce was able to inspect the home and realized the home was in need of some preventative work. Bruce prescribed a new sump pump, a drainage system, and supportive beams, and treated the moisture in the air.

SmartJack

The home's support was compromised, proving to be a major risk factor. To correct this issue Bruce installed SmartJack Pipers along the home's supportive frame. SmartJack piers are metal beams placed strategically along the structure's supportive rim joist. The bottoms are anchored into the ground with poured concrete while the tops are capped with load-bearing joints that are attached to the rim joist. The entire pier's height is adjusted till there is constant pressure being applied, reintroducing support to the entire framework.

WaterGuard

The home was dealing with a water yield that would put a strain on any sump pump. To better compensate Bruce and his team installed a WaterGuard drainage system to better control the water. WaterGuard is a system of draining channels that are connected to the home's sump pump. The channels are installed under the foundational floor and covered with poured concrete, making it invisible to the naked eye. The channels lead to an outlet pipe that takes the water far away from the home's foundation, depositing the water in a safe location.

Dehumidifier

The water that already entered the home and caused damage to the crawlspace needed to be dealt with. Bruce and his team used an industrial dehumidifier. Moisture in the air is a major risk to the home. Moisture can invite micro-organisms into the home that consume organic materials like the wood found in most homes' Support works. This process weakens the home's integrity risking the safety of the home. Moisture also invites mold spores that can risk the occupants' health directly as well as indirectly.

TripleSafe

The home's sump pump was out of date, unable to keep up with the amount of water entering the home. Bruce and his team decided to replace the pumps with an Ayers trusted model known as TripleSafe. TripleSafe is a trusted sump pump at Ayers due to its three levels of security. The first level is a powerful motor that has a high water capacity. The second level of security is a reserve motor that activates if the water surpasses a certain level on the initial motor. The third level of security is a backup battery that only activates if the home losses power.
