Rim Joist Insulation
Using spray foam to insulate the rim joists of the crawlspace make sure there is no gaps in which airflow, moisture, and bacteria can get in. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawlspace, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the entire home. Patricia will be saving a fortune on her energy bill every month.
TripleSafe Sump Pump
Our TripleSafe sump pump utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies, so the basement can remain dry even when the power goes out. This will ensure Patricia's home will never flood, and it can remain safe for her son and his family one day.
Exterior Discharge Line
We installed an exterior discharge line in Patricia's crawlspace. It was put toward a low point in the property, sending water away from the home. Since the system is inside, there's no dirt to clog it up and water is discharged effectively via the sump pump.
SmartJacks
Finally, our crew installed SmartJacks. They are steel supports that balance the foundation of the crawlspace, lifting it to its original position. They can be adjusted so the home never shifts out of place.
