Photo Album: Cottage Crawl Space and Basement Waterproofed in Fennville, MI

The crawl space and basement of this summer cottage needed some attention. Exposed dirt and leaky walls in this below water-level area made this a musty, damp place full of mildew. Our team installed the WaterGuard subfloor system to direct water to the new SuperSump pump system, allowing it to empty out of the LawnScape outlet at the end of the discharge line. The crawl space also received some TLC, with a SaniDry dehumidifier, CleanSpace drainage matting, and a CleanSpaceliner.

Drainage matting

Drainage matting is laid across the ground before the CleanSpace liner allows water to flow into the SuperSump

SuperSump

The SuperSump provides plumbing for any leaks by collecting the water and then pumping it outside through a buried discharge line.

Before CleanSpce

The exposed ground isn't helping any leaks and needs to be sealed off to stop water vapor and allow for drainage.

WaterGuard

WaterGuard, a drainage system installed beneath the perimeter of the floor allows for water to be rerouted to the sump pump.

LawnScape Outlet

Water collected from the SuperSump exits through the LawnScape outlet, an attachment placed at the end of the discharge line, allowing the line to be buried.
