A Virtual Reality Wonderland...in a Mall Basement?

Could Virtual Reality be the theme park trend of the future? Zhang Yimou thinks so.

Yimou, whose name you might recognize from as director of House of Flying Daggers or choreographer of the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony, is the co-founder of VR theme park SoReal, which offers participants the chance to shoot at space creatures among other VR experiences.

With plans for a theme park underway, SoReal is currently operating in the 10,000 square foot basement of a Beijing shopping mall.
