We Can Fix It - Even If It Isn't Ours
It seems like we’re receiving more and more calls from homeowners who had a different company install a waterproofing system in the past, and now they’re back underwater. Maybe the original installer doesn’t have a solution, or maybe they just flat out don’t exist anymore - many waterproofing companies in the area have come and gone in the 35 years since Ayers started - but no matter what brings them to us, they all need help.
Luckily, we not only offer an annual maintenance plan for our installations, but we can also service systems that we didn’t install. This can involve a few different approaches:
Service
Sometimes it’s just a matter of a previously installed system having a hiccup - maybe the motor in your sump pump has died, or the discharge line has broken. If that’s the case, and there are no further issues found, some repairs are all that are needed.
Addition
Sometimes the reason the system doesn’t work is because it isn’t complete. Some companies install a sump pump but not a drainage system, or vice versa; the result is an ineffective solution, which isn’t a solution at all. We’ll assess the existing system and figure out what to add and what to change.
Replacement
And sometimes, the existing system is just bad. Maybe it was installed improperly or maybe it was flat out an inferior product, but whatever the case, we can replace it with a new, effective system.
