The Benefits of the BBB
I tend to hibernate in the winter. I'm not a bear, as far as I know, but I'm miserable in cold weather and am disinterested in anything that doesn't involve at least one blanket and some snacks. But for the past few days, I've been itching to air out my house and declutter.
As the temperature rises and it's suddenly not miserable to have a window open or take a trip to the store, you too may have visions of home improvement dancing through your mind. And as you seek out contractors, it's important to choose a business you can trust.
The Better Business Bureau is a great place to start. The BBB offers a place not only to review businesses you've had a great experience with, but also neutral territory to resolve any issues you may encounter. And based on the annual report we recently received, you guys know this, and are turning to the BBB more than ever.
Ayers has an A+ rating, but more than that, we're receiving a much higher rate of inquiry compared to similar businesses. We have very few complaints and work hard to resolve any that arise (after all, our mission statement is "Just Do the Right Thing), and it's great to see our dedication pay off and give peace of mind to customers when they check in to the BBB before hiring us.
With spring comes an uptick in shady, unlicensed and untrustworthy contractors who just "happen to be in your neighborhood" and notice an issue with your roof, foundation, or anything else they could potentially eyeball and use enough jargon to confuse you. Be smart, and don't be fooled. Any business worth their salt will be a member of the Better Business Bureau.
