Meet the Team: Mike Whilden, IT Manager Extraordinaire
You might meet one of our Marketing Specialists at a trade show, or talk to one of our Appointment Center representatives on the phone. You'll meet a System Design Specialist at your free home assessment and a Project Manager and his crew when they arrive to complete your project.
But you'll probably never meet Mike.
You likely don't know Mike. Maybe it's because there's no reason for you to have contact with him. Maybe it's because we can't figure out where to put him on the Meet the Team page. But regardless, he is an integral part of the Ayers team and he doesn't get enough attention.
Mike Whilden is the IT Manager at Ayers, and since he started with the company in April 2015, he has made immense progress in everything from our phone system's efficiency to our System Design Specialists' efficacy when they're in customers' homes by making sure they have not only the latest updated software, but also the knowledge to use it. He's even improved our on-site monitoring, assuring our employees and property are safe.
Born in Oscoda, MI, Mike came to Ayers via Grand Rapids. He has two children and loves Michigan football, Mountain Dew (he is an IT guy after all), and leaving his desk so that the Marketing team has to field the many people who come into their shared office looking for him.
Mike was facing quite an undertaking when he started, and he has catapulted us into current best practices for technology and set us up for unprecedented advancement as Ayers continues to grow and expand.
