Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

A customer from Okemos called us about receiving a free estimate on their basement so we drove out to their property. We checked their basement and noticed that the current sump pump is not suitable for defeating Michigan weather. We upgraded basement by replacing their Sump Pump with a TripleSafe Sump Pump. TripleSafe is a sump pump with three different pumps in one liner. The first being the 1/3 hp zoeller pump which does most of the pumping and is placed at the bottom of the liner. The second is the 1/2 hp zoeller that is placed slightly higher than the first. This pump is more powerful but will only be turned on when needed. The final pump is the battery-operated UltraSump DC which is used in case of a power outage, this pump can pump up to 24,000 gallons of water. Now, this Okemos homeowner won't have to worry about their basement flooding ever again.

One homeowner in Okemos, MI called us about their sagging floors. So, we drove to their property to give them a free estimate, we found the root of the problem which is the foundation of the floors in the basement. The floors needed to be reinforced so that they wouldn't sag so we installed our advanced SmartJack technology. The SmartJack is a support system used to stabilize and level the floor joists in a crawl space. This system can support up to 60,000 pounds. The SmartJack system is placed on strong concrete fillings that have replaced the soil in that small location underneath the SmartJack. Now, this homeowner won't have sagging floors ever again.

In Okemos Michigan, a homeowner was having problems with their crawlspace, so they gave us a call. We drove to their property to check it out for ourselves, after inspection we decided that CleanSpace would be perfect for their situation.  CleanSpace is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that fits to the crawl space to completely seal the home from the earth. We installed the WaterGuard System to collect and drain the water to the sump pump. The system is a French drain that is installed under the floor but above the foundation as to not clog.

This Okemos homeowner had a driveway with about half of the slabs are sinking. It causes some issues with driving and walking due to the unevenness. We decided to use PolyLevel to raise the slabs sunken concrete slabs back to the original position. PolyLevel is a light weight injectable foam that is waterproof so it won't wash away. It also cures in about 15 minutes so it won't be inconvenient to the homeowners.
