Dori was having water issues in the basement when the rain was really heavy. The water is coming in from the walls and she didn't know how to stop it. We installed the WaterGuard System which is a French drain that is installed under the floor and collects water that is seeping in. The water collected in the drain is then sent to the sump pump. We also installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump System which provides 3 levels of protection for the homeowners basement. The water that is collects/sent to the sump pump is then dischraged outside the home and keeps the water out!
The basement walls of this home in Lansing, MI had a few cracks in them. Not only were these cracks an eyesore, but they were also letting water in through them. To prevent this water from entering the basement and wreaking havoc, the homeowners decided to waterproof the space with WaterGuard and CleanSpace.
To collect water from the leaks in the walls, WaterGuard, a subfloor drainage system was installed. The specially designed piping is laid on top of the footing around the perimeter of the room. It collects the water and then reroutes it to a sump pump, which discharges the water away from the home. Since it doesn’t sit along the footing, it won’t get clogged with mud.
CleanSpace was the final touch in making over the cracked walls in the basement. Not only does it cover up unsightly cracks, but CleanSpace also provides a moisture barrier from the wall leaks allowing them to drain into the WaterGuard system. Additionally, CleanSpace is durable and is manufactured with an antimicrobial additive.
WaterGuard and CleanSpace work together to keep this basement dry and aesthetically pleasing!
