Cracks in a basement wall can lead to major issues down the road. Our customer wanted a quick and easy fix, so we brought FlexiSpan in to do the job. The material of FlexiSpan is flexible so it can shift with the crack through natural wall movement while keeping the gap sealed, and can withstand any pressure, expanding, or shrinking that may happen around it. FlexiSpan works to keep the water out and will stop cracks from ruining your basement.
Our team was called because Daniel wanted an egress window installed in his basement. Egress Windows are required because they are big enough to provide a safe exit in case of emergency. Also, these windows provide lots of natural light. Lastly, most windows offer minimal protection against outside air entering the home due to poor insulation around the window. Egress windows will help ventilate your indoor areas and prevent unwanted allergens from entering your house.
Tom noticed small cracks forming in his basement below a window. He called Ayers for our years of waterproofing experience. We sent a crew to the home for a free inspection. Our system design specialists recommended our FlexiSpan solution to seal the cracks. FlexiSpan will treat the slits without the stress and cost of remodeling the entire wall. First, our crew fills the small gaps with a flexible sealant. Then, we install a drainage layer. If water permeates the white panel over the now sealed cracks, the water will flow to the subfloor drain installed under the wall. Concrete is poured over this drain to conceal it within the floor. Tom is grateful for the quick fix that prevents further water damage!
When Sani and her husband purchased their Lansing home last May, they noticed strange bumps on their basement walls but no signs of water damage. With their daughter’s play area and laundry in the partially finished basement, they grew concerned about potential mold and its health risks. To safeguard their home and loved ones, we installed MoldX and a SaniDry dehumidifier. Now, moisture is under control, cutting off the conditions mold needs to grow. Their basement is safe, dry, and usable, giving them peace of mind that their daughter is protected from potential health risks!
This Lansing homeowner has a basement that is partially finished but there is water that has been leaking in. He wanted the issue addressed as soon as possible before the water intrusion could get worse or ruin the finished area. We installed the WaterGuard drain system to collect the water and send it to the sump pump, we then installed the TripleSafe sump pump to send the water outside of the home and protect the basement in case of a power outage, lastly, we added the SaniDry XP to keep the basement dry and filter the air!
