This Grandville homeowners had some water issues in their basement and wanted the problem to be fixed. We installed the WaterGuard System to give them peace of mind. This French drain is designed to be installed below the floor slab which keeps the drainage system out of the area where drains can clog. This system collects water that seeps through the basement walls and drains it into your sump pump. WaterGuard is installed with minimal invasion of the slab, and all concrete is restored after installation.

Our professional team installed the WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system. WaterGuard sits on the top of the footing in the basement in order to prevent clogging from mud or other debris. The system works by capturing floor and wall seepage before it has a chance to damage anything in the basement. Once the water is trapped in the drain it is taken immediately to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from your home!
The before picture shows the system once it is installed in the shallow trench and the after picture shows the system once it is completely installed and covered with a layer of concrete.
Paul and his wife have water coming in from a corner of their finished basement where the floor meets the walls. There was no sump pump so when heavy rain comes, water pools in the area. We installed the WaterGuard drain system which is a drain under the floor but above the foundation to collect the water that seeps into the home. The water that is collected goes to the SuperSump Plus sump pump system that we also installed for them. The sump pump keeps the basement dry for extended periods of time, even in times of heavy rain. It has a back up battery in case there is a power outage so that water will still be discharged out of the home.
