Tony was dealing with a foundation that was settling and was unsure how to fix this serious issue himself, so he called Ayers. We sent a crew for an inspection and determined our Helical Piers would work perfectly. This solution consists of steel and a set of helical blades on the lower section of the pier. They are mechanically advanced into the soil with our professional equipment. When installed to the appropriate depth and capacity, they will put an end to these foundation issues. These piers may even be able to lift the home back to a level position. This pier system creates a solid supporting base that transfers the weight of the home downwards to strong supporting soils. You probably have seen basements with stone walls, because they are very popular in Michigan and Indiana. Well, unfortunately that is terrible for your foundation, they are hard to fix once they crack and crumble.  So we used Shotcrete on this home in Nappanee. We start by connecting the old wall to a framework that will help support the concrete being sprayed on the wall. We just build the new wall right on top of the other wall. This has fewer risk than lifting the entire house does and it is quicker and cheaper, making it easy for you. You won't even need to leave your home. This concrete will strengthen this home for many more years to come. 

Jake noticed his crawl space had some issues as there were some spots that were eroding so he decided to call up Ayers for solutions. We had our professionals come out to his home for an inspection and from there it was determined he needed SmartJacks and CleanSpace. First with SmartJacks this is a supplemental support system for crawl spaces made of steel columns, threaded rods, and a solid base that addresses sagging floors or the erosion of support structures. The base of each SmartJack is placed two feet below the surface to reduce load-bearing stress by up to ninety percent. Cindy can't believe how balanced her floor is!
