Van got a notice of a leak in his apartments, and he contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems for a professional opinion. An Ayers Specialist determined water was leaking through the foundation and under the window. The CleanSpace system was suggested and later installed to ensure leaks would no longer be an issue. CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that creates a vapor barrier when implemented. After installing the system, any water leaking into the room will run behind the liner and to the drain on the floor! 

Mark decided to call Ayers after realizing water leaking from one of his basement walls. Our crew suggested our FlexiSpan solution after inspecting the problem area. The great advantage of FlexiSpan is it will treat the small cracks without forcing you into a full wall remodel that is more costly in time and money. First, we fill the cracks with a flexible sealant then we add a drainage layer. If water permeates this white panel layer, it will be directed down into the subfloor drain we installed below. Mark was thrilled to get a quick, professional fix!

Tony was dealing with a foundation that was settling and was unsure how to fix this serious issue himself, so he called Ayers. We sent a crew for an inspection and determined our Helical Piers would work perfectly. This solution consists of steel and a set of helical blades on the lower section of the pier. They are mechanically advanced into the soil with our professional equipment. When installed to the appropriate depth and capacity, they will put an end to these foundation issues. These piers may even be able to lift the home back to a level position. This pier system creates a solid supporting base that transfers the weight of the home downwards to strong supporting soils. Tony was relieved to receive a safe, trustworthy solution for his home!

You probably have seen basements with stone walls, because they are very popular in Michigan and Indiana. Well, unfortunately that is terrible for your foundation, they are hard to fix once they crack and crumble.  So we used Shotcrete on this home in Nappanee. We start by connecting the old wall to a framework that will help support the concrete being sprayed on the wall. We just build the new wall right on top of the other wall. This has fewer risk than lifting the entire house does and it is quicker and cheaper, making it easy for you. You won't even need to leave your home. This concrete will strengthen this home for many more years to come. 

Jake noticed his crawl space had some issues as there were some spots that were eroding so he decided to call up Ayers for solutions.
