Ayers Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Vaughn required a new waterproofing system in his basement to keep his belongings dry. He searched around for the best options around and decided to choose Ayers. We then sent a crew to the home for a free inspection, from which we concluded he needed our WaterGuard System, SuperSump, and our SaniDry XP Dehumidifier. WaterGuard is a drainage system placed along the perimeter of the basement and in the subfloor to ensure water coming in through the walls is collected. The water will then be directed to the sump pump that we hook it to. Concrete is then poured over to conceal it as well. SuperSump is a horsepower cast-iron system that can pump 2200 gallons an hour at an 8-foot head. Lastly, SaniDry XP will create clean and dry air. It is ten times more powerful than your average dehumidifier. Vaughn was thrilled to have his basement properly waterproofed!

Lynette needed solutions to tackle the foundation issues she was running into that were causing her block foundation wall to start bowing. She made the call to Ayers for our foundation repair options. Our System Design Specialists determined GeoLock Anchors would work best after conducting a free inspection. GeoLock Anchors have an interior anchor plate that sits on the inside of the foundation wall. Then a steel cable is drilled through the plate, the wall, and the soil to a predetermined distance from the home. Lastly, another plate is anchored to the other end of the cable in stable soil. This system will prevent further bowing caused by soil pressure. Lynette was relieved to have a foundation repair system installed that will keep her home safe!

Bob was looking into getting his crawl space encapsulated to protect it from mold and musty smells. He called Ayers for our crawl space repair options, so we sent a crew for a free inspection. From the inspection, our System Design Specialists decided CleanSpace and our SaniDry XP Dehumidifier would provide the best protection. CleanSpace is a thick, waterproof, plastic liner that we lay around the crawl space floor and walls. This will give the space a vapor barrier that protects it from excess moisture. A surplus in moisture turns a damp and musty crawl space into a moldy and bacteria-ridden space. SaniDry XP Dehumidifier will ensure the air stays clean and dry since it is ten times more powerful than your average dehumidifier. Bob was thrilled with the results!

The foundation walls of this family home had been leaking water into the crawl space. While the water was mostly coming through the walls, the dirt floor in the before photo also put the crawl space at risk. Once the family decided they were going to convert the place to a year-round home, they gave us a call to get an encapsulation and insulation installed in the crawl space. The after photo shows the CleanSpace vapor barrier that would serve as the encapsulation. As you can see, the inorganic liner covers both the walls and the floor of the crawl space to keep out any possible leaks. The foam at the top of the wall is a spray insulation called Froth Pak that seals off the crawl space. 

Mark had us come out to his home and install a couple things for his crawl space a few years ago but was not ready to encapsulate it yet. This year he was ready to seal the crawl space off and keep the moisture out. His home is older and he just wants to make improvements to protect it. We laid down Drainage Matting which has raised dimples in it. The dimples create a channel for water to flow through if any water gets in and directs it to the sump pump. We also installed CleanSpace which is a thick, durable liner similar to a pool liner. The liner is a vapor barrier that keeps out humidity, pests, and water vapor to keep the space dry. It also keeps the home safe from mold and rot!
