Mike called Ayers since he was looking into getting his crawl space repaired as there was some water intrusion and he didn't have it properly sealed. After an inspection was conducted our System Design Specialists recommended we install CleanSpace and the installation process began. CleanSpace is perfect as this is a thick, durable, and waterproof plastic liner that is placed on the crawl space floor, protecting it from excess moisture development. The vapor barrier it holds is what prevents this development which leads to nasty mold or bacteria growth. We even added our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to clean and dry the air as well to keep the space clean and dry for Mike!
Candy was looking into getting a dehumidifier to keep the basement clear of excess moisture and she wanted to cover the floors with tiles that would make the basement more attractive. She realized Ayers had the solutions she was looking for so after calling us we sent a crew to install our SaniDry XP Dehumidifier and the tile she wanted for the flooring as well. SaniDry XP Dehumidifier will clean and filter the air, preventing the excess moisture that leads to nasty mold or growth. Then we added the tile over her flooring to make her basement look more finished and attractive!
Steve was worried about the lack of protection in his basement. There was no waterproofing system in place to stop water from seeping in and ruining his precious belongings. He called Ayers for the job and a crew was sent to the home for a free inspection. Our professionals can make the best recommendations after inspecting the particular problem area. Our solution was to install our subfloor drainage system known as the WaterGuard System. This system is installed along the perimeter of the basement and laid on the foundation's footing to prevent clogging. If water does permeate through the walls, it will be collected in the drain and directed to his sump pump. Concrete is poured over the system as well to conceal it. This drain will keep Steve's basement looking clean and dry!
Casey just purchased Sterling Heights home that was built in 1938 and the seller never disclosed that there was water in the crawl space with and a terrible DIY fix. She called Ayers for an inspection, and our crew determined she would need WaterGuard and a TripleSafe.
WaterGuard is a sub-floor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. A TripleSafe sump pump system utilizes three pumps in order to remove excess water from the basement. The second and third pumps are in case of emergencies so the basement can remain dry, even when the power goes out.
Casey was angry that the seller didn’t disclose the state of the crawlspace, but extremely grateful to Ayers that we could get her new home safe and dry for her and her family. She’s thrilled she never has to worry about flooding or an unstable foundation ever again.
Casey's home was built in 1938 so the crawl space foundation support was finally failing. The wooden support beams and joists were rotting so she decided to call Ayers for solutions. After an inspection at the home, our professionals determined SmartJacks would make the best replacement. SmartJacks consist of a solid base installed in the subfloor, steel extendable columns, and we then attach a steel supplemental beam above. This crawl space support system will effectively support the failing beams and joists. This solution will provide strength and stability to the vital foundation structures that were rotting. Now Casey is assured her home will remain safely supported!
