Before the steel support beams and SmartJack system in the after photo were added into this crawl space, the floor above had been sagging in several different places. As you can see, the owners had been using cinderblocks to boost up the floor joists. The SmartJack system in the after photo is a much better solution, as the jacks can be raised to whatever height necessary. Not only that, the SmartJack system also includes steel beams that will allow each SmartJack to support large areas of the floor joists. The beams also won’t erode from the moisture and dampness that was commonly in the crawl space. It's the perfect system to repair any sagging crawl space or floor.
This customer in Mattawan, MI had a cracked block wall in his 40-year-old ranch style home. The 3rd block down the wall was bowing in and cracking. After doing some landscaping, the cracking became worse and a solution is desperately needed.
We installed out CarbonArmor system. CarbonArmor uses the same technology as the Army Corps of Engineers designed to reinforce bomb shelters to stabilize your basement walls. The system consists of fiber reinforced polymer that is 10 times as strong as steel, maximizing the utility of the product. And as a bonus, no excavation is needed.
Norman had concrete on the side of his home that had been sinking. So our team installed PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a system designed to fix concrete slabs that have sunk. A polyurethane foam that expands and has a high density lifts the concrete slabs back to their original level. This is a quite simple process and is done by drilling small holes into the concrete and then inserting the foam into the holes. Also, the PolyLevel system is waterproof and long-lasting.
You have to have a downspot from your gutters to keep water from dumping next to your foundation. There are a few ways to do this but the most common way seems to be with those bulky metal discharge lines that lay in your yard. These become a tripping hazard, are a pain to mow around and are not all that appealing. Thankfully, we have come up with a way to fix this!
The LawnScape outlet allows for water to escape with virtually no pitch. It also works great for discharge lines on sump pumps. The LawnScape outlet allows us to completly bury the discharge lines and have the outlet at the end to allow the water to exit.
