Jerry was having some issues with moisture in his crawl space and wanted it closed off. We first laid down drainage matting which has dimples to direct the flow of water to the sump pump. Next, we installed the CleanSpace liner which is a thick durable liner similar to a pool liner. The CleanSpace Vapor Barrier prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. It keeps your crawl space dry which protects your structure and insulation from mold and rot. We then insulated the crawl space with SilverGlo which contains graphite particles to increase insulating properties and make sure his house stayed warm in the cooler months.
This Battle Creek property owner was having some issues with his foundation wall bowing so he called us to find a solution to support the wall and hopefully return it to the original position. We installed GeoLock Channel Anchors to stabilize the wall. Galvanized steel and floor mounts for extra strength, our channel anchors provide an incredible durable solution that will halt all inward movement of your walls. We bore holes in hard packed soil in the yard for earth anchors and steel rods are joined to them through the wall. The channel anchor is then mounted on the other end of the rod inside your foundation wall, secured to the floor, and tightened into place.
This Battle Creek homeowner had some moisture issues in their crawlspace. When it was windy, there was a draft in the basement that the owner wanted looked at too. We inspected the home and had just the solution for the issues the homeowner was facing. First we laid down Drainage Matting in the crawl space which is a mat with dimples to allow the flow of water to the sump pump. Then we laid down CleanSpace which is a very thick liner that is installed to keep moisture, water, and pests out of the area. Now the homeowner has a clean, dry crawl space with no cold drafts coming into the basement!
Joel owns a rental property that had some bowing walls in the basement. He was concerned about safety and wanted them fixed so he called us for a solution. We installed GeoLock Channel Anchors to halt any inward movement of the wall. The GeoLock Channel Anchor system starts by drilling holes in the yard for the earth anchors and then drilling holes in foundation for the channel anchor. The earth anchors are galvanized steel that are joined to steel rods which are then connected to the channel anchors inside your foundation wall. The anchors inside your home are mounted to the floor and then tightened into place. This system will permanently stabilize your wall and could return it to its original condition. After the install, we restore the landscaping and basement to the state we found them in.
Cindy wanted to install an egress window in her basement. She contacted our team at Ayers Basement Systems to have the window installed! An inspection determined where the window would go and what Cindy wanted to be installed. Lastly, the Ayers crew got to work with the installation! Cindy was thrilled with how the project turned out!
