Kathy was hoping to get her crawl space repaired with an efficient support system and encapsulation so she called up Ayers. After we conducted a free inspection it was determined she needed CleanSpace along with SmartJacks. CleanSpace was installed because this thick, durable plastic liner will run along the crawl space floor and protect it from mold or bacteria with its vapor barrier. The SmartJacks are steel columns connected to a solid base and support beam above to ensure the support of her home. These will lift her home to a level position as well.

When wall leaks happen, the water flows down the walls and creates puddles. These puddles appear across the floor and at the joints where wall and floor meet. The WaterGuard system - which can be seen being installed in the after photo - acts as a drain for the basement walls and floor. It is installed in a gap around the perimeter of the floor to catch any runoff. The water then flows along the trench and is forced out of the house by whichever draining system you choose to install. We recommend a sump pump system for reliable and continuous discharge.

Our customer called to have an egress window installed. The home's previous owner had improperly installed basement windows, causing leaking and drafts. This isn't uncommon when working below grade - that's why it's important to have a basement company install basement windows.
