This homeowner contacted us because he wanted to get his crawl space insulated. There was no water issues but he wanted to take preventative measures. Since there weren't any water issues the next step in our process is to deal with the inevitable water vapor and bugs that come in through the exposed earth. We take care of this by encapsulating the entire crawl space with CleanSpace. You can see in the picture there is a plastic liner on the floor but it's not doing much good. It's very thin so it can easily rip and allow water to continue to get it. Our CleanSpace is a very thick liner that sealed around the entire crawl space and made with UltraFresh which is an antimicrobial agent that prevent mold growth. The crawl space is now healthy and usable. It's much brighter and can easily have stuff stored on it.
A customer needed to make sure their crawl space was entirely sealed off to make sure her house was ready to sell. So she called our team and we installed an Everlast Window. EverLast windows are made from insulated glass so you won't have to worry about heat loss or water seeping through cracks in the window. In addition, EverLast windows do not rot no matter how much water they are in contact with. Therefore, installing an EverLast window let you relax and no longer have to worry about water intrusion.
The back wall of Lori’s house is cracking, however she is looking to refinance her home soon. She knows that this will affect the refinancing of her home so she called our team. We installed CarbonArmor, a wall reinforcing system. CarbonArmor fixes damaged or bowing walls which are both very serious problems and can cause even more serious problems if they aren't fixed properly. CarbonArmor prevents the inward movement of your walls and reduces their cracks. In addition, this system is perfect for Lori because it can easily be concealed in order to give your basement a finished, sleek look.
As you can see, this Battle Creek home had a bowing wall in the basement that they wanted fixed. We installed CarbonArmor to the wall to keep it from cracking and moving further. CarbonArmor includes flexible carbon fiber straps that are stronger in tension than steel. The straps are bonded to the interior face of the wall using a high strength resin. This system requires no exterior excavation, installs quickly, and won't impact future basement finishing.
Cracks in Robert's basement walls were allowing water in, so he called our team. We installed PowerBrace, a foundation repair system created to secure basement walls in place. Often outside pressures can cause your basement walls to crack or tilt, this foundation repair system counteracts these pressures by keeping your basement walls in place. Over time, the system can be tightened to not only secure the walls in place, but to also straighten them back to their original position.
