Foundation Repair Before & After Photos

Steve just bought a house and was going to fix it up himself but he was concerned about the structural issues. He wanted the issues to be fixed and to give him peace of mind that the house was stable. We installed Helical Piers because they are great for stabilizing and restoring foundations. These piers have fast, year-round istallation so you never have to worry that your home can't get fixed due to the season. The piers can even help lift the foundation back to the original positiion.

 This home in Blanchard, MI was over 100 years old, and the basement looked like it. With a mixed stone and brick walled foundation and a dirt floor, the space was letting in some water, and was far from inviting. The homeowners contacted us to waterproof the space and make it a more pleasant area.

We first addressed the sloped wall in the basement and stabilized and smoothed it with Shotcrete. Shotcrete is concrete that is applied by spraying it through a high pressure hose. This reinforces that wall and provides stability, while also creating a nice smooth surface.

Next, we installed a perimeter drainage system connected to a sump pump in the basement. This allows water to be collected and then rerouted to the SuperSump so that water can be pumped out of the basement. The final step of adding a poured concrete floor dramatically improves this space and makes it more functional and more inviting.

Lynn's foundation wall in her basement was starting to bow and she wanted a permanent solution. She tried to create a temporary solution but was afraid it would not hold up and the wall would collapse. We used PowerBraces to keep the wall from moving any further. The best part about this system is that it is adjustable so that it could potentially straighten the wall.

Fred and his wife have basement walls that were cracking and starting to bow. There was one crack that went stright across the top and another was a stair step that went from one corner to the next. The bowing has been getting much worse this year and the owners are happy to finally stabilize the walls. We used the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System to stop further movement in the walls. The system does not require excavation and installs quickly.

We sent a team to inspect her basement walls and it was decided we would install our GeoLock Anchors. 

These GeoLock Anchors will permanently stabilize their basement walls which offers the best chance to straighten these walls without the cost and disruption of foundation replacement. This system consists of galvanized, heavy duty earth anchors that are embedded in stable, undisturbed soil outside your foundation wall. Each anchor is connected by a steel rod to a wall plate that will provide clamping pressure against the inside of the foundation wall.
