This Vicksburg homeowner had a crack in his basment wall that had been there for years but it was starting to get worse. The bowing wall was going to eventually push on pipes if it was not fixed. Denise's floors and foundation were sinking and the main beam had rotted due to termite damage. In order to fix these issues our team installed SmartJack, a system produced to halt your sagging floors. Due to the moisture and soils in your crawl space, floors above crawl spaces are vulnerable. The Smart Jack system is a permanent fix to these issues. It uses steel columns, threaded rods, and a solid base to address any issues your crawl space may introduce to your floors. Installing this system usually takes less than a day and it provides immediate stabilization.

Fran was looking into getting better foundation support in her basement so she called up Ayers. After we had a crew inspect this area it was settled she could use SmartJacks. With SmartJacks these are steel column support structures that are attached to a solid base at the bottom. Dennis found vertical cracks in his foundation wall. Some cracks were outside the wall while others were inside the garage. Due to the settling foundation, the garage concrete was starting to crack and sink as well. To keep the foundation from sinking even more, we installed Helical Piers. They anchor into the solid soil to stabilize the foundation as well as help lift it back to the original level. To fix the garage floor, we used PolyLevel. PolyLevel is an injectable foam that is lightweight and waterproof and used to lift and level concrete. 

Cheryl recently noticed the outside walls of her apartment were cracking and didn't want them to cave in. As the property manager, she knew this needed fixing, so she researched and called Ayers for help. We sent a team of professionals to the complex to evaluate, and they recommended installing GeoLock wall anchors. The wall anchors are made of galvanized steel and fastened to the compromised wall. A ground anchor is placed away from the house in undisturbed soil and connected to the wall anchor by a steel rod. Cheryl is relieved to have a stable wall!
