Michael and Joyce needed a new vapor barrier for their crawlspace as their previous liner had deteriorated. The couple contacted us at Ayers Basement Systems for a home inspection. The team concluded that moisture levels within the crawlspace were high, and water was becoming an issue. The couple opted for the CleanSpace system as it would solve all their worries! CleanSpace utilizes a heavy-duty plastic liner that encapsulates the whole space preventing moisture from getting through! Michael and Joyce were thrilled with their decision as everything looked fantastic!
Ken recently found mold growing in his crawl space and knew this wasn't a good sign. After researching his options online, he called Ayers to learn about our waterproofing solutions. We sent a crew of specialists to his home to evaluate, and they recommended installing the CleanSpace vapor barrier. CleanSpace is lined with antimicrobial material to eliminate moisture and prevent mold growth. The barrier is applied to the crawl space floors and walls and built to withstand walking and crawling. Ken loves the new look of his crawl space!
Our customer was experiencing standing water in their crawl space. After clearing the water out we installed our drainage matting and CleanSpace Liner. Our goal is to isolate the space from the earth using the liner and to direct any water coming into the Smart Sump sump pump using the drainage matting. The Smart Sump will pump out the water that drains into it and the CleanSpace Liner gives the space a clean more appealing look. The liner even makes it possible for your crawl space to be used as an additional storage space.
The homeowners had mold and moisture in there basement and crawl space areas. Controlling what goes into your crawl space begins with your crawl space door. Crawl space doors that are simply cut from plywood and loosely fitted allow pests, moisture and outside air to get into the space. To make matters worse, wood will crack and warp over time requiring repainting or even replacement. Our team saw this problem and knew the homeowners needed a solution.
The EverLast crawl space door is made of plastic that is just about indestructible. There are several different door colors available so you can match your homes color scheme. EverLast doors will never warp, shrink, crack or require maintenance or painting. The air and water seal on the door ensures that your crawl space is protected from pests, moisture and outside air.
The cranky crawl space shown above was in desperate need of encapsulation. It became a great time to do this while remodeling the entire home. The homeowner Paul, called us to see what his options were. We sent one of our Senior System Design Specialist’s to our new friend’s home. Our expert created several individualized solution options that fit Paul’s needs and budget. In the end, Paul chose our unique CleanSpace encapsulation product to seal off his crawl space from the wet and musty elements it faced below. He also chose to have the walls insulated with spray foam insulation to increase the efficiency of his home. Realizing the importance of controlling the relative humidity in his crawl space, Paul elected to have the SaniDry Sedona installed. The SaniDry will promote dry breathable air throughout his entire home. We hope the rest of Paul’s remodel went as well as the crawl space renovation did!
