Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

Mary, a former librarian, has had a wet crawl space for years. The home was built in the 50s, and when it rained heavily, standing water would accumulate. She called Ayers for an inspection, and our crew determined that she would need CleanSpace Wall System and a SandiDry Sedona dehumidifier. The librarian she is, Mary did heavy research before ultimately choosing Ayers. 

CleanSpace Wall System is a moisture barrier that uses a thick plastic liner along crawl space walls to keep them dry and last decades longer. It also has antibacterial properties that prevent mold and bacteria growth. Damp air takes more energy to heat and cool. Cutting down on the moisture in the crawl space, in turn, will cut down on how much it costs to heat or cool the home. The SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier automatically removes up to 100 pints of water a day from the air in the home’s crawl space. This system circulates the now dry air through the basement and automatically removes the leftover water so you don’t have to.

John and Susan getting older and wanted to get a ranch, so they just moved into their new Bay City, MI home. WaterGuard is a subfloor waterproofing system that collects water that leaks through the walls and keeps dirt away from the foundation. It is installed along the perimeter of the basement and on top of the footing of the foundation. Concrete is poured on top and regular flooring can be placed on top. 

Our SuperPump Plus is an excellent solution for those who want to avoid an open sump pit. It effectively captures groundwater and can be connected to our WaterGuard system for drainage. Its airtight lid ensures debris is kept out and children or pets can't fall in, making it a safer option. The SuperPump Plus also has a built-in alarm to alert you if the water level rises too high. Made from durable cast iron, it provides high-volume pumping capabilities.
