Scott V. contacted us because his finished basement was literally getting ruined by excessive amounts of water. There were puddles flooding this basement in almost every room. Having an unfinished basement get flooded is bad enough but a finished one where you have to end up replacing the carpet and the drywall is not a good day.
After seeing what was happening and discussing options Scott and our team of experts decided to go ahead and install our WaterGuard system. So many people have WaterGuard installed because it really does work. It's installed underneath your floor so you can't tell it's there and it collects all that water so it doesn't ruin your belongings. WaterGuard collects water from the walls and ground and directs it to the sump pump, to be properly pumped out of the basement.
(The stone perimeter in the picture is the middle of the WaterGuard installation. The next step is to put new concrete over the stones, so you can't even tell we were there.)
The homeowner in Holland, MI noticed water seeping into his home where the floor and the walls meet. There was so much water coming in that it was leaving pools all around his basement and caused damage to his floor.
To prevent further damage, our professional team installed WaterGuard long lasting interior perimeter drainage system. The WaterGuard system is designed to capture floor and wall seepage before the water hits the basement floor and causes damage. WaterGuard goes along the perimeter of your basement sitting on top of the footing so you do not have to worry about it being clogged by mud or other debris. Once the system captures the water, it immediately carries it to the sump pump. The sump pump then removes the water from the home! Thanks to WaterGuard the homeowners basement is now clean and dry!

Water in the home can be caused by many reasons. Many treatments stop the water at its source but oftentimes high water yields are unavoidable based on the home's location or repair budget. Luckily Ayers offers a draining system called WaterGuard that helps control the flow of water around the home and prevents damage permanently.
WaterGuard systems are placed underneath the home's foundational floor and channels water that the sump pump can not control out and away from the home.
During heavy rainfall, Beltran noticed water pooling in his finished basement. Immediately contacting Ayers after not being able to find the source of the flooding, our foreman Randy inspected the area and realized the home's drainage system was being overworked. The location of the home makes heavy water yields inevitable.
Randy and his team decided to fit the home with a draining system that would be installed underneath the home's finished basement flooring. The system used is called a WaterGuard and consists of channels installed into the foundational floor. The channels direct the water away from the home, never giving it chance to reach the surface. The basement flooring is placed on top of the system, making it invisible as well as reliable.
