Our professional team solved the problem by installing a WellDuct basement window well drain. When a basement window well fills because of rain, it could easily leak around the window opening and flood your basement. The WellDuct window well drain is designed to prevent basement flooding due to window well leakage. The well drain connects the base of the window well to an interior drainage system. In this case, the WaterGuard interior drainage system was installed on the floor of the basement around the perimeter. The water that gets trapped in the well drain is moved to the WaterGuard drainage system, which is then moved to the sump pump. The sump pump then effectively removes the water from the basement keeping it dry and clean!
